We have tried to design this website to be simple, effective, and as user friendly as we could because we think banking should be as hassle-free as possible; whether you come to our website, or into our bank lobby.

New Urgent Message: Bank of Brenham, Federal Reserve Bank, National Automated Clearing House Association, Southwest Automated Clearing House Association will NEVER send you an email (or a webpage in the online banking application) asking you for personal or financial information including social security number, driver’s license, balance information, user id, passwords, CVV info from debit card or expiration date. We will not ask you to download a file, software or click on a hyperlink with in an email. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Bank of Brenham directly.


As part of our commitment to remain on the cutting edge of banking technology, we are pleased to announce that we will also be offering a new Internet Banking System starting November 17, 2014This system will allow us to offer Free E-Statements and Free Bill Payments. If you are currently one of our Internet Banking customers, or wish to become one, you will need to click on Enroll In Online Banking and follow the instructions on the screen. You may not be able to login on your first attempt due to security restrictions. If you are unable to login, the bank will be notified and will contact you within 1-3 days.

Due to the conversion process, if you use Quicken or Quickbooks please download your current data by 4:00 pm on November 13, 2014 to ensure a smooth transition.  After November 13, 2014 your history will not be available from prior statements to download into the new Internet Banking System. 

On or after November 17, 2014 Quicken or Quickbook users will need to modify their Quicken settings to ensure a smooth transition of data.  Please download and follow the instructions linked below for your specific Quicken program.

By operation of federal law, beginning January 1, 2013, funds deposited in a noninterest-bearing transaction account (including an Interest on Lawyer Trust Account) no longer will receive unlimited deposit insurance coverage by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC).  Beginning January 1, 2013, all of a depositor’s  accounts at an insured depository institution, including all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts, will be insured by the FDIC up to the standard maximum deposit insurance amount ($250,000), for each deposit insurance ownership category.
